Tagus Creek is the new face of Portuguese wine.
Tagus Creek wines are a blend of tradition and modernity. They combine the best of Portugal's traditional grape varieties with more well known, superstar international varieties to make wines with a unique character.
The range consists of six wines: four reds, including a reserve and a ‘Grande Vinho' a white and a rosé. The reds are blends of international grapes Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz with three leading Portuguese varieties: Touriga Nacional, Aragonês and Trincadeira. The white is a blend of Chardonnay with Fernão Pires, and the rosé melds Shiraz with Touriga Nacional.
These are wines made in a modern style, using the best winemaking technology, but with a respect for tradition and naturalness.
The result is wines that offer modern, fruit-dominated flavours, but also savoury complexity that makes them good food wines, too.
